MARYLAND LAUNCHES MODERNIZED PLATFORM FOR STATE REGULATIONS

Governor Wes Moore has announced the launch of a modernized, online platform for the Code of Maryland Regulations. COMAR is accessed more than 100-thousand times a month by state agencies, courts, libraries, law firms, businesses, and others who need to know the law. The new system improves search capabilities and navigation, it automates the regulatory drafting and publishing process and it’s available in an open-source, computer-readable format.  The governor says the COMAR updates were made possible through a partnership between the Secretary of State’s Office and the Maryland Digital Service.
