Four search warrants at vape shops in the Oakland area on Tuesday, resulted in the recovery of more than $41,000 worth of illegal THC-related products and over $30,000 worth of marijuana. Five individuals were arrested on drug-related offenses. The arrests stem from a six-month investigation, and began following complaints of underage juveniles buying marijuana and THC-related products from local vape shops. Search warrants were executed at the Oakland Vape Shop, the Garrett Vape Shop, the Deep Creek Vape Shop, and at an apartment on Deer Park Avenue in Mountain Lake Park. Taken into custody were Sameer Ali Khalid Jafar of Oakland; Mohammed Hassan Al-Sabyani of Morgantown; Adnan Al-Naqeb Esmail of Oakland; Casey Rose Burns of Accident and Hussein Gamal Abdulrab Saleh of Oakland.
