Fire units from three counties responded to the former Luke paper mill site yesterday morning for a commercial building fire. According to the Cumberland Times-News, contractors working on demolishing the building called 911 when debris in the building caught fire. The former paper mill was owned by Verso Corporation; it closed in 2019.
