SPECIAL PROSECUTOR APPOINTED IN FATAL HAMPSHIRE HIT-AND-RUN

A special prosecutor was named, following a fatal hit-and-run crash last month, just outside of the Romney town limits. Dan James, a prosecuting attorney in Morgan County, has been appointed to look into the crash that killed Debra Lorraine Edwards. She was struck by a vehicle, while crossing the road in front of the Family Dollar Store, and the driver left the scene of the incident. There has been a public outcry for more information and accountability in the case, both in person and on social media.
