Waylon Jennings is being honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the 2027 class. The recognition comes as renewed interest in his music continues following the release of archival recordings overseen by his son, Shooter Jennings. Shooter praised the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and those who helped make the honor possible, saying he is proud to see his father’s legacy permanently recognized. Jennings will join a select group of country music legends already honored with Walk of Fame stars, including Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton.
