NEW INDICTMENT IN WASHINGTON COUNTY SCHOOL BUS SEX OFFENSE CASE

New indictments have been announced in the case of a Washington County school bus attendant accused of inappropriately touching six children. Seventy-two-year-old Michael Sowers is facing charges that include second-degree rape and third-degree sex offense. Authorities say at least four of the alleged victims are special needs students.  The incidents allegedly took place between February and May, when he was charged in three cases.  Sowers is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.
