INFORMATION SOUGHT ON FATAL FLINTSTONE CRASH

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash just after 3 a.m. yesterday morning, near the intersection of National Pike and Old Cumberland Road, east of Flintstone. As emergency units arrived, they found a red Toyota RAV 4 engulfed in flames. The road was closed for about five hours, while accident reconstruction took place. The victim or victims were not identified, pending notification of family. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have seen the crash, or may have information, to call the office at (301)-777-1585.
