Lonaconing Mayor Jack Coburn addressed the county commissioners on what he termed “disturbing” statements made by the Allegany County Commissioners. All three commissioners have discussed money the town owes the county. Mayor Coburn says the town has, so far, paid the county nearly $680,000 for water bills. The Mayor has invited the commissioners to discuss the bills and payments at a future meeting.
