An 88-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle in a Frostburg business parking lot yesterday afternoon. A driver was backing out of a parking space in the Frostburg Shopping Village parking lot as the woman was walking behind it and was struck. She was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland and is listed in stable condition. The investigation remains open, pending additional interviews as needed and a final review of investigative materials.
