A Kentucky woman accused of vandalizing DC’s World War Two Memorial will be back in court this week. Forty-one-year-old Melissa Farris allegedly spray-painted the words “Clean Hands Dirty Money” on the memorial on August 12th. She also reportedly poured a bubble mix into the fountain. She turned herself in a few days later and was indicted last week on charges of destruction of a veteran’s memorial and destruction of government property. She’ll return to court for a hearing on Thursday.
