Garth Brooks recently revived his Yukon Jack alias for a 16-song club show in Denver. Brooks performed at the Grizzly Rose in front of  2,000 people before four sold-out shows at Ball Arena. The Yukon Jack name dates back to 1993, when Brooks used it to book a secret show in Clovis, New Mexico, while traveling to perform at the Super Bowl. The name comes from Yukon, Oklahoma, where Brooks was born, although he has never explained the Jack portion. The Denver set included Brooks hits, a Billy Joel cover of “Piano Man,” a David Allan Coe cover, and “Friends In Low Places.”
