HARRISBURG, PA. RANKED ON LIST OF TOP RODENT CITIES

A new report says Harrisburg is one of the worst cities for rodents.  Terminix has Harrisburg 50th in its ranking of the nation’s biggest hotspots for rats and mice, which is based on where the pest control company received the most rodent-control service calls in 2025.  Terminix says large populations, food waste and plenty of places for rodents to hide all contribute to the problem.  Health officials warn rats and mice can spread disease and encourage residents to keep food sealed, secure trash containers and close off entry points to their homes.
