WOMAN FACING CHARGES IN ROUTE 220 CRASH

Ridgeley resident Helene Jeanette Murphy  is facing charges following Monday’s head-on crash  in the vicinity of the Chat-N-Chew that left two people critically injured. Murphy is currently at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Brian Shaffer of Cumberland is also at Ruby. The third driver, Terri Lyn Williams Pressley of Keyser was treated at WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital for minor injuries. McMullen  Highway was closed for about two hours for accident reconstruction.
