The Pennsylvania Department of Health is investigating a measles-related death reported in Franklin County. The county coroner’s office said a 39-year-old woman who died last weekend had a recent measles diagnosis, meeting the state’s definition of a measles-associated fatality. If confirmed, it would be the sixth measles-related death in Pennsylvania this year. DOH said it will provide an update after the review is completed.
