ARCHBISHOP OFFERS PRAYERS FOR POPE LEO’S HEALTH AND HEALING

Archbishop of Baltimore William Lori is offering prayers for Pope Leo’s health and healing following the pontiff’s lung cancer diagnosis.  Pope Leo is recovering in a Rome hospital after surgeons removed the lower lobe of the Pope’s right lung on Tuesday.  The Archbishop is asking the Catholic community to join in prayer for the Holy Father as he faces this health challenge.  He asks that the Blessed Mother surround Pope Leo with her grace and comfort so that the Lord may grant him healing and sustain him as he continues his ministry to the Church and to the world.
