A new study says your napping habits might be a warning sign of dementia. Researchers reported older adults who fall into unintended naps, nap frequently or take shorter naps may have a higher risk of developing dementia. The research is being led by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The study results showed that people who napped most days or every day had a 48-percent higher risk of dementia. Unintentional napping was tied to a 39-percent higher risk of dementia and napping for 30 minutes or less was tied to a 40-percent higher risk.
