The Maryland State Highway Administration is hosting a public open house next Tuesday to share information and receive feedback on the ongoing study along Interstate 68, from Route 220 to Willowbrook Road, including the Crosstown Bridge. The informational session will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Allegany Museum on Pershing Street. The effort will consider environmental, community and economic goals early in the planning stage. Those goals are then carried throughout project development, design, and construction. While there will be no formal presentation, attendees may arrive at any time during the open house to view maps and displays, speak with State Highway Administration representatives, and provide feedback. Study materials will be available.
