SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT ON NORTH MECHANIC STREET

The city of Cumberland Sewer Department has announced a sewer rehabilitation project on North Mechanic Street, between Baltimore and Smith Streets.Crews will begin work on Baltimore Street and work toward Smith Street. The project is scheduled to begin next Monday, and last through November 20th. Work will take place Monday through Thursday nights, beginning at 6 p.m. through 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists are asked to follow all posted traffic control signs and “No Parking” restrictions and use caution when traveling through the area.
