Two, EF-1 strength tornadoes touched down within minutes of each other last Saturday in Garrett County. The Cumberland Times-News reports that one touched down between Asher Glade and Selbysville just before 8 p.m. and was on the ground for about 3 miles. The second, reported just after 8 p.m. was on the ground between Friendsville and Accident. Both tornadoes were the width of one-and-a-half football fields. Tornadoes were also confirmed in Washington County, Pennsylvania and Preston County, West Virginia.
