MARYLAND STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE DEADLY FREDERICK COUNTY CRASH

Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Frederick County. The Tuesday accident happened just after 11:00 a.m. at the ramp from Route 80 to northbound I-270 in Frederick when an SUV went off the road and overturned. The driver and the passenger were declared dead at the scene by emergency medical services personnel. The identities of the victims are being withheld pending family notification and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
