GAS UTILITY SALE APPROVED

The West Virginia Public Service Commission is on board with the sale of Peoples Gas to Hope Gas.  The transaction is worth 37-million dollars, and the 13-thousand new customers will not see a base rate increase, at least not now.  The PCS also approved the emergency agreement between West Virginia American Water and Armstrong Public Service in Fayette County.
