PRESTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION

The cause of a noon-time fire at the Preston County Courthouse Monday remains under investigation. The fire was traced to the bathroom ventilation system. Members of the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Company responded, but workers there put the fire out by using a fire extinguisher. No injuries were reported.
