Everett resident Jeremy William Decker has been charged in connection with shots fired Tuesday night outside the Hampton Inn in Bedford, where Milwaukee activists were staying. Decker was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and a firearms violation. The Cumberland Times-News says a witness claimed Decker brandished a firearm through the open window of his truck and fired several shots in the air. No injuries were reported. About 30 people in Bedford are traveling to Washington, D.C. to observe the anniversary of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
