Several restaurants across the state are experiencing an employee shortage. A statewide restaurant industry meeting was held last week to address the issue. Restaurant owners, state officials, and other partners gathered to discuss ways to get their businesses fully staffed. Extra unemployment benefits will end at the beginning of July, so employers are hopeful they can lure in new employees at that time.
