FOUR NEW COVID CASES, ZERO ADDITIONAL DEATHS

Allegany County is reporting four new COVID-19 cases and zero additional deaths; the local positivity rate is well below the state average, at 1.13 per cent. Maryland is reporting 1.81 per cent. There will be a walk-in COVID-19 clinic on the ground floor of the Allegany County Health Department on Wednesday. From 9 a.m. to noon, both the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered. From 1 to 4 p.m., the Pfizer vaccine will be available for those age 12 and older. The Health Department is reporting that 40.5 per cent of Allegany County residents are full vaccinated; across the state, over 58 per cent of residents are fully vaccinated.
