The majority of COVID hospitalizations in Maryland are among the unvaccinated, according to officials. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan said today less than point-zero-one-percent of vaccinated Marylanders have been hospitalized with COVID-19, and less than point-zero-zero-one-percent of vaccinated Marylanders have died from the virus. Hogan also said that nearly every new COVID case reported is a Delta variant case. Within the last 24 hours, the state of Maryland has confirmed 729 new cases.
