400 MORE HOSPITALIZED WITH COVID IN MARYLAND

Health officials are reporting 586 new COVID cases and four related deaths today.  Hospitalizations have increased to four-hundred people, and 98 of those are in the ICU.  Governor Larry Hogan says the Delta variant accounts for nearly every new confirmed COVID case in Maryland and that unvaccinated populations are the most affected.  As of right now the state reports 78.5-percent of all adults have received one dose of the vaccine.
