Maryland is reporting over a thousand new COVID cases in the last 48 hours. The state added one-thousand-47 new cases and three new deaths to its totals. Hospitalizations increased by 34 to 490 people getting treatment for coronavirus. The state positivity rate continues to climb as it now sits at four-point-39-percent.
