HOGAN ISSUES CITATION TO VACCINATED TEEN

Governor Larry Hogan is proud of young Marylanders who are stepping up to get vaccinated.  On Wednesday, the Governor welcomed 15-year-old John Paul Newman to the State House and presented him with a Governor’s Citation.  Newman was one of the winners in Maryland’s Vax-U Scholarship Program that offers 50-thousand-dollar scholarships for young people who take the shot.  Hogan thanked Newman for setting an example for young people.  Newman is from Montgomery County which has the second-most coronavirus cases in the state.
