DRIVE-THRU TESTING TO BE RELOCATED TO SHRINE CLUB

Because of the Western Maryland Street Rod Roundup this coming weekend, the drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinic will temporarily relocate to the Ali-Ghan Shrine Club from tomorrow through Friday. The clinic days and hours will remain unchanged. As of Friday, there have been 61 new COVID cases, and unfortunately, two additional deaths. The local positivity rate is 8.41 per cent, while the state is at 4.92 per cent.  As has been the case, the Health Department has free COVID-19 vaccination clinics every Wednesday from 9 to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Just over 42 per cent of Allegany County residents are fully vaccinated, compared to 61.2 per cent of all Maryland residents.
