PA. LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD HAD A GOOD 2020

As bad as 2020 was during the height of the pandemic, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is reporting that it had a great year. The PLCB released its unaudited financial results from the fiscal year 2020 through 2021 which shows that they made record net income and the largest increase in annual sales in its history. The PLCB made nearly 350-million-dollars more in sales than it did the year prior, and its net income was over 56-million-dollars higher than the previous fiscal year. This large bump in numbers could possibly be linked to the stay-at-home order as states nationwide saw increases in alcohol purchases.
