STATE SUPREME COURT MANDATES KEEPING SCHOOL MASK USE IN PLACE FOR A WEEK

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has decided to keep the school mask mandate in place until at least December 8th, when the court will hear oral arguments on the issue. Tuesday’s ruling overturns decision by the Commonwealth Court on November 10th.  The mandate was voided at that time after that court found the state’s acting health secretary didn’t follow proper procedures and the rule had been adopted without an existing disaster emergency declared by the governor.
