The Governor is furious with certain members of the General Assembly. It comes as he introduced emergency legislation at the Special Session to address public safety across the state that’s been overlooked. Senate GOP members signed a petition on Wednesday to allow a vote on Hogan’s two crime bills. Senate Minority Leader Bryan Simonaire said that the time to act is now and they cannot wait until January to discuss the bills. Governor Hogan called it ‘disgraceful’ that certain lawmakers were more worried about protecting career politicians instead of protecting Marylanders from violent crime.
