Maryland COVID-19 hospitalizations are on the rise. State health officials say more than eleven-hundred coronavirus patients are hospitalized, an increase of 78 since Sunday and the most since late April. Of that number, 17 patients are pediatric cases, and three children are receiving intensive care. Maryland has been unable to report updated information on COVID-19 cases and deaths after the state health department’s website suffered a cyberattack.
