There were no injuries in a house fire in the 17000-block of Carscaden Road, off Hoffman Hollow Road near Frostburg Monday afternoon. Fire could be seen from the second-floor of the home. The call came in about 2:30 p.m. and was controlled in about ten minutes. Also on the scene were the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office and the American Red Cross.
