ASSAULT CHARGES AGAINST WIFE OF SUSPENDED D.A. DISMISSED

Charges against Amy Thomas, wife of suspended Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas, have been dismissed. Amy Thomas was charged with simple assault and harassment charges, stemming from an incident where she admitted to digging her fingernails into the arms of her husband during an argument. Jeff Thomas tried to have the charges withdrawn in mid-September, before being charged days later, with sexually assaulting a woman.
