Maryland’s gas tax holiday expires next week. Last month, the General Assembly decided to suspend the state gas tax for 30 days to help relieve some pain at the pump. Lawmakers have until April 11th to extend the tax holiday. If they do not do that, residents can expect to see the price of a gallon of gas jump by at least 36-cents on April 16th.
