As COVID restrictions loosen, the number of flu cases are up. Experts believe there is a direct correlation between people no longer wearing masks, and no longer being as strict with social distancing and hand washing. In the past week, the number of influenza-like illness is up a half-percent over the normal flu baseline. As the flu season comes to an end with the start of spring, this is the highest concentration of flu related doctor visits all winter long.
