Police are looking for Donald Dewayne Corbin of Cumberland; they say he allegedly tried to suffocate a woman early Monday morning at a home in the 23,000-block of McMullen Highway. They also say Corbin should be considered armed and dangerous. The victim suffered injuries to her face and neck, and Corbin fled the residence, prior to the arrival of deputies. He will be charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and related charges. He is described as 5 feet, ten inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has short hair and tattoos under his left eye and on his neck.
