PENNSYLVANIA MARIJUANA BANKING BILL GAINS MORE TRACTION

A Republican state lawmaker says his marijuana banking bill in the Pennsylvania Senate is gaining more support. Senator John DiSanto from Dauphin and Perry Counties says many cannabis businesses deal only in cash because of federal regulations, so his bill would let banks do business not only with dispensaries but also with testing and research labs that grow marijuana for medicinal purposes in the state. He hopes the full Senate will vote on the bill by the end of the month.
