Augusta, West Virginia resident Jason Orvle Moore has been charged with murder, in the stabbing death of his roommate, James Franklin “Frank” Harding early Monday evening. Harding was stabbed in the abdomen, face and neck area, after the two argued over what authorities termed a “tobacco issue.” Following the stabbing, Moore fled to a nearby home, where he told residents he had just killed Harding. After a brief struggle with police, Moore was taken into custody by police, and remanded to the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail. Harding’s body was taken to the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
