BILL PASSES IN STATE HOUSE REGARDING LT. GOVERNOR’S RESIDENCE

The house previously used for the lieutenant governor’s home could become a veterans’ outreach center. That’s after a bill passed the state house Tuesday to find another use for the historic building north of Harrisburg at Fort Indiantown Gap. It is not currently used by current Lieutenant Governor Fetterman but reportedly would take about three-million-dollars to renovate it to make it accessible to people with disabilities.   The bill now heads to the senate for consideration.
