Winchester, Virginia resident Anthony Dean Jeffries was arrested by Cumberland City Police on an Allegany County Sheriff’s Department warrant. The arrest was made in connection to a theft from a Barrelville Road residence in September of last year. The victim claimed that tools and sports memorabilia had been stolen from their residence. Deputies determined that Jeffries had sold the items to a local business. The items and receipts were recovered from the business. Jeffries was arrested, received a bond hearing, and released on $1,000 unsecured bond. In a subsequent arrest, Jeffries was charged with possession of CDS, not marijuana. On that charge, he was also released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
