SUSPECT DETAINED IN FROSTBURG FIRE

A yet-to-be-identified suspect was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland for a medical evaluation, following a deliberately set fire Monday at the rear of 189 East Main Street in Frostburg. A passerby discovered the fire, which was quickly extinguished by the Frostburg Volunteer Fire Department. The property is owned by Leroy Pullen, and the fire caused about $200 in damage. The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says charges are pending in the incident.
