Authorities are cracking down on drug trafficking throughout the state. Maryland is participating in the American Governors’ Border Strike Force which aims to dismantle criminal networks that operate illegal drug production and human trafficking. State Police recently spent seven-days earlier this month focusing on I-70, I-68 and other surrounding highways. As a result, 27-arrests were made. Twenty-six states in all participated in the initiative.
