PENNSYLVANIANS REFLECT ON QUEEN’S PASSING

Pennsylvanians are remembering Queen Elizabeth who passed away Thursday at the age of 96.  Governor Tom Wolf offered up condolences calling the Queen’s 70-year reign “remarkable,” leaving behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.  The Queen visited Philadelphia back in 1976 on the bicentennial of the United States and gifted the city a bell. The Bicentennial Bell – which has been in storage – is set to be unveiled in a new park at Third and Walnut Streets in the Spring of 2024.
