The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with the Downtown Development Commission and Cumberland City Police, has announced the release of a Request for Proposal to bid on the necessary equipment, installation, and maintenance of a security camera system in downtown Cumberland to improve public safety. Beginning Friday, qualified contractors are invited to submit a proposal with the end goal of enhancing, expanding and modernizing security in Downtown Cumberland. Sealed proposals are due at the CEDC off at 3 Pershing Street, Suite 105 in Cumberland.
