STATE REPORTS GENERAL FUND SURPLUS

Maryland’s fiscal health is stronger than ever.  That was the message Wednesday from Governor Larry Hogan after he learned the state ended the Fiscal Year 2022 with a surplus of two-billion-dollars in its general fund.  Hogan said that as his time comes to an end in office, Maryland has four-point-four-billion-dollars in total reserves.  Hogan added that all Marylanders deserve the credit for the turnaround.
