There are reports of what is being termed “a major accident” on Interstate 68 Eastbound at the 64-mile marker. The roadway is shut down in that area. No information was immediately available from either the Allegany County Office of Emergency Services nor the Maryland State Police. Several vehicles are reportedly involved, and injuries have been reported.
