Grand Avenue residents Wayne and Nicole Sorrells were arrested early Tuesday, after allegedly burglarizing a resident in the 6100 block of Cumberland Highway in Somerset County. They told police Wayne Sorrells was in the residence, just after 3 a.m., on the pretext of using the bathroom. A search of their vehicle revealed softball bats, equipment, tools fishing poles and power tool batteries, all valued at $2600. Bond was set at $50,000 for Wayne Sorrells, and $25,000 for Nicole Sorrels in Somerset County Court.
